Isaac died this morning.last night i found him curled up on his back gasping for air. flipped him over, he started have seizures. 3 hours i sat with him...but he died earlt this morning. his belly was green, indicating Salmonella. how the fuck does a vet miss that in 2 fecal exams and multiple vet visits for the same damn thing? as a REPTILE vet, knowing that REPTILES, like SNAKES, sometimes carry Salmonella, and sometimes it gets waaaay outta control???? they didnt even BOTHER checking for it! he could have been saved, but no, he was dismissed as not worth the effort on the vets part. isaac died slow and painfull. i saw it as he was dying in front of me. snakes dont suffer? bullshit. he suffered for more than 3 hours, slowly suffocating and having his insides rot, while his brain betrayed him. dont say he was just a snake, because he wasnt. its not fair his life got cut short because of the vet dismissing him. i did EVERYTHING i could for him. new tank, lighting, bulbs, UTH,new bedding, premium mice, medicine, vitamins....fuck you, Dublin animal hospital. As you can see, im in a piss-poor mood.
